Tuition Programme - Outcomes Assessment to be completed by a Tutor working with a Young Carer Tuition Outcomes Assessment "*" indicates required fields Young Carers come in all shapes and sizes. They can be any young person under the age of 25 who does lots to help a loved one with an illness, disability, mental health condition or substance misuse problem. Their health and overall wellbeing can be negatively impacted by the responsibilities they assume as part of their caring role. Barnet Young Carers’ educational support programme is delivered in partnership with Express Tuition. Its overall aim is to support young carers gain increased confidence and resilience whilst being guided by a qualified and expert tutor in a subject area they are finding difficult or require additional support with. This is the Barnet Young Carers Outcomes Assessment that is required for Express Tuition’s tutors to complete on the first and last session of the intervention support with each individual young carer. This will provide the monitoring data to evaluate the impact of the programme on young carers and young adult carers lives, as well as underlining its success crucial to secure further funding beyond the length of the programme.
